As a convenience the Board of Directors of Harris County MUD 50 offers a number of different payment options. See the descriptions below to find the method that works best for you. These options are for paying your water / sewer bills only. Tax payments must be made through the Tax Office.
Online Bill Payment
If paying Online just click the green "Pay Your Bill Now" button. You must have your 9-digit account number from your statement to make a payment. For example: 10-12345-12. Please confirm payment made to: Harris County MUD 50.
(Please allow 24 to 48 hour for payments to be received by the District).
All online payments will include a convenience fee.

- $50 - $100: $2.94
- $100 - $150: $4.39
- $150 - $200: $5.84
- $200 and above : 2.99%
- E-Check: $1.00
Payment By Mail
If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.
Payment Drop-off Location
You may pay your bill in person at our office address. We accept check, or money orders. We also have a drop-slot for after hour payments when our office is closed.
Payment Through Financial Institution
Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.
Terms and Conditions for credit card use:
By entering your credit card information:
a. You are stating that you are an authorized user of the credit card and that the associated information entered (account holder name, account number, billing address, etc.) is accurate.
b. You authorize Harris County MUD 50 to charge the amount you have requested to your credit card.
c. If you set up automatic payments, then you authorize Harris County MUD 50 to charge the amount due for the invoice being paid to the credit card.
d. You also authorize Harris County MUD 50 to return to your credit card any funds due to you by Harris County MUD 50 resulting from use of this Service.
e. For each transaction, in addition to the charge you have authorized, your credit card issuer and network may assess their customary transaction or handling charge, if any.
f. If a charge is declined or reversed by the credit card issuer or network, you agree to pay us a service charge and to reimburse us for all reasonable costs of collection. Your credit card issuer may also assess its customary charge for such transactions.
Refund Policy
All refunds or credits will be provided as a credit to the customer's account or to the credit card used at the time of purchase within five (5) business days upon receipt of notification.
